Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2026 will take place from March 24 to 27 in Milan and will feature the participation of OCRAMclima® in Hall 11 – Stand V22, where the results achieved so far in Task 3.1.7 – HVAC of the R2UT project will be presented, with special emphasis on the development of an integrated modular HVAC system.
Recognized as one of the most important European events dedicated to HVAC and energy efficiency, Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2026 brings together manufacturers, designers, and decision-makers from different markets. Over four days, the sector showcases technical solutions and follows the evolution of sustainable and industrialized construction.
!The 2026 edition once again highlights energy efficiency, resource optimization, and the adaptation of technical solutions to the new modular construction paradigm. In this context, OCRAMclima® participation takes on particular relevance.
During the trade fair, OCRAMclima®, as leader of Task 3.1.7 (HVAC) within WP3 of the R2UTechnologies project, will present in Milan the developments achieved in collaboration with partners DST, DTE, and INEL.
At the current stage of the project, a functional prototype in the technical validation phase will be presented, integrating three essential functions into a single indoor unit: climate control, ventilation, and domestic hot water (DHW) production.
The integration of these functions into a single unit enables the adoption of a decentralized approach, aligned with the principles of modular construction, where each unit can operate autonomously.
The results now presented reflect the work carried out up to the current stage of the project, with subsequent phases of optimization and validation still planned.
The prototype developed within the scope of the R2UT project has been designed with a view to its future application in segments where modular construction has experienced the greatest growth, namely:
In these contexts, the need for integrated, standardized, and fast-to-implement technical solutions is becoming increasingly evident. The industrialization of construction requires reliable and compact equipment capable of following the building’s modular logic without compromising thermal comfort and indoor air quality.
From March 24 to 27, visit us at Hall 11 – Stand V22 at MCE 2026 and discover the results of the R2UT project up to its current development stage.
